I visited this Iconic Distillery from 12 to 17 August 2015, for the occasion of a Distillery Whiskey School, and the 3rd Annual Distillery Founding Fathers’ & Mothers’ event.

I would say that we had a “Right Royal Do” a great few days of celebrating the achievements already, of the Dingle Crew.

Headed up by the irrepresible Mary Ferriter, General Manager, and her team of eager Bhoys willing to work hard to ensure their own, and of course their beloved distillery’s future.

In no particular order of priority, they are Ryan, Sean, Shane and Michael.

The great thing is, that non of these young men is any more important than the other, they all possess their own skills and certainly should be all pulling in the same direction.

Of course none of ant of this would be possible without Mr. Visionary himself, the indefatigable Oliver Hughes, and his other two Directors, his Cousin Liam LaHart, and their PorterHouse Brewery Brew Master Peter Mosely.

At least 300 people were present for the FF event including their Excellencies The Mexican Ambassador to Ireland, and also The Italian Ambssador to Ireland, plus others from New Zealand, France, Germany, United States, England, Scotland, and if I’ve missed a country, my apologies.

A Great Event…..Slainthe’ Mhath, here’s to next year.
