I have been around, as they say for quite a long time.
I have no problem whatsoever with the current trend of attempting to “Sex Up” Blended Scotch Whisky…Period.
But wait a minute, before All you young Marketers try to redefine what is Scotch and what is not Scotch.
The question must be asked , just exactly how much do you actually know about Blended Scotch, Blended Malt, Blended Grain, Single Malt or indeed Simgle Grain ?
Ask your selves the question, are you selling Scotch Whisky per se or could you be selling frozen peas or ice cream……Honest answers please, no Bull Shit !
Marketers, Sales people, large companies, for God’s sake be honest for once.
You Wish To Sell Booze, no matter what, just to satisfy your shareholders, and nobody else.
So Scotch, join the flavoured “Shot Club” and become a poor imitiation of “Sweet” Bourbon.
This is not right, Why would you copy Bourbon. ?
