Gin v Whisky or Whisky v Gin

Explosions happening with both spirits.

Both now being produced in many countries around the world, and why not?

Only that there eventually will be an over saturation of very mediocre and probably downright bad expressions of both

produced in various parts of the globe.

This will be inevitable, given the penchant that all one has to do is to churn out alcohol and hey presto “I’ll make a fortune” !

Not so I’m afraid, this is a brave new world in which we are entering, but there will be no long term future for the opportunist or indeed the foolhardy.

So, will Gin or Whisky take the crown ?

There is a place for both of course, but whisky will win out in my opinion.
